Request For MAGIX Open-File Digital Data
Get an Open File dataset:
1. Direct download: To get a single dataset at no cost, download a zip file directly from GeoVIEW.WA by clicking on the 'Registration' number hyperlink in your query or selection results list.
2. On CD or DVD: To get a single dataset on a CD or DVD, please use the web form below at a cost of $55 (including GST) per disk.
3. External hard drive: You can get a copy of all current Open File datasets (inlcuding the one you want) on an external hard drive for $99 by sending an email to erica.theedom@doir.wa.gov.au
Service Charges
Open file data: $50.00 per medium (plus 10% GST)
Government data: $90.00 per medium (plus 10% GST) or download from Geoscience Australia

Use the forms on this page to request a single open-file dataset on CD or DVD media. Either:
- Download, fill out and submit one of the forms available at the top right of this screen, or
- Use the electronic form below (fields marked with an asterisk are obligatory).
Data will normally be supplied in the same format in which they were submitted to GSWA.
Note: Please do not request data for surveys identified from the MAGCAT database; the Department does not hold digital data for these surveys.
