As the State's lead agency, the Department of Industry and Resources (DoIR) assists in the responsible development of the State for the benefit of Western Australians. The Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) is a division within DoIR that publishes a vast amount of pre-competitive geoscience information on the State, contributing to billions of dollars worth of resources exploration and development.
