Download Well Log Data in ZIP files containing LIS, DLIS, LAS, or ASCII formats through 'Electronic Documents', either via the map or the 'Wells' directory under 'Data Repositories' in WAPIMS.

Download post-stack SEG-Y and navigation data for selected seismic lines in ZIP files through 'Electronic Documents', either via the map or the '2D Seismic Survey' directory under 'Data Repositories' in WAPIMS.

Requesting Palaeontological Material from DoIR
To borrow palaeontological slides for wells please email petdata@doir.wa.gov.au attention Petroleum Data Release Officer, specifying the wells and intervals you wish to borrow and the purpose of the loan.

Sampling cores and cuttings at DoIR
To examine and sample cores and cuttings for a well please email corelibrary.requests@doir.wa.gov.au attention Petroleum Data Release Officer, specifying the wells and intervals you wish to sample and the purpose of the sampling.

All data is available through DoIR and can be viewed in microfiche format at the Department’s Library, on the 1st Floor 100 Plain St. Full scale copies are available for viewing at the Department by appointment and clients should email the Petroleum Data Release Officer at petdata@doir.wa.gov.au to arrange an appointment.
