Temporary Employment

We sometimes have short term (up to six months) contract opportunities available in a range of positions. If you believe you possess the skill sets to meet our requirements you are welcome to apply on-line now.

Please note, if you are interested in permanent or long term contract positions you will need to apply separately for vacancies listed under Current Employment Opportunities.

What do we do? If you would like to find out more about the range of services DoIR provides we recommend our What can we do for you? publication.

Can you work legally in Australia? It is important that you are aware that you must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident or hold an appropriate work visa, otherwise you are ineligible to apply for temporary employment.

The process? After lodging your Curriculum Vitae (CV) you will be contacted if a suitable vacancy becomes available, at which time you will be requested to attend a short interview.  It is important that you provide full details of your work experience in your CV so we are easily able to assess your suitability for short term vacancies. Please note for temporary positions you must be available at short notice. Your CV will be held for up to six months after which you will need to reapply.
