Upstream Petroleum Reporting Requirements
Onshore
To report significant matters related to safety, well or facility integrity incidents in onshore areas which specifically apply to upstream petroleum operations reporting required under the:-
• Petroleum Pipelines Act 1969 and related regulations;
• Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Act 1967; and
• “Schedule Of Onshore Petroleum Exploration And Production Requirements – 1991”.

Offshore
Where there is a statutory requirement to report significant offshore incidents to the Director Petroleum and Royalties Division as well as NOPSA relating to:-
• well, reservoir or facility integrity which may or do compromise integrity of wells or facilities and/or
• interruptions to petroleum production and/or
• medivac evacuation / fatality
